What I See

Finding a place of contentment, while not falling into complacency is a hard jewel. We, as artists, are a finicky bunch- we want to be challenged, yet not critiqued; we want to grow, yet we hate being stretched too far; we exude a sense of confidence, yet we pick ourselves apart and compare our pieces to everyone in proximity. We see colors in a world of black and white, and we draw circles on grids. We are people who understand how important details are, even the smallest ones, yet the details that set us apart from everyone else are the things that annoy us the most. We are what we hate. We are the same, and we are different, a continuous paradox.

But our details,

our differences,

make us who we are.

They are proof that God loves us and that He takes time on us.
Embrace who God has made you to be. Enjoy life. LIVE life. And pay no attention to the people who don't care to understand you.
